ACCORDION INSTRUCTORS

Virginia started lessons at the age of six and continued lessons with Karl Siedel at the Girardi Accordion School in Mason City, IA until they closed. During that time she played in their accordion band playing all the different parts. She has also played with The Accordion Queens and Stanley and Duane Pichelman’s dance band, where she also gave accordion and guitar lessons. Virginia currently plays at care centers, retirement villages, for the Polka Club of Iowa, and gives private lessons. She is also in a polka band called POLKA’s 4 U which plays a number of gigs at various locations.
