Viola pedagogueand orchestral musician, Lawrence Wheeler, has meticulously edited aselect 33 etudes from Book One (1-30) and Book Two (31-56), chosenfor their musical and developmental benefit. The etudes selected areall appropriate audition repertoire. Fingerings have been adapted forthe viola and clef changes reflect modern practice. Each etude showsalternate fingerings in parentheses and suggests alternate bowings. Awelcome new addition to the teaching repertoire for Viola.
