FLUTE, CLARINET, SAXOPHONE INSTRUCTOR

PEGGY WOLFORD :

Peggy Wolford holds a Bachelor Degree in Music Education from Malone College in Canton, Ohio. She is retired now , but has taught in the public and secular school systems for 28 years. During that time she taught Honor Choir, Drama, Theater, African drums, General Music, Jazz Band, as well as 4th-8th grade Bands. Peggy has directed concerts, recitals, musicals and competitions at festivals. She has also directed church choir, and hand bell choirs, in numerous states. Peggy has taught private and group lessons, for over 30+ years.
Peggy has been honored as "Teacher of the Year" twice and received nominations in other years. She has received state recognition for excellence in teaching/programs. Several of her students have qualified for State Band and Choir programs. Peggy has a love for all types of music and feels it a great privilege to help her students find musical enjoyment in the instruments of their choice.
